My final morning at the lovely Chateau de Varennes I got up at the crack of dawn & went outside to enjoy the sunrise & listen to the many owls {so. many. owls.} and birds…and just take in the beauty. This truly, was the trip of a lifetime, however cliche that may sound. It was everything I dreamt it would be – and even more. I had only read books & watched movies about France- but to live and breath at an actual authentic chateau as lovely as this for a week- priceless.
