VINTAGE TRUCKS: Alexis & Frank steal a kiss in the mint green vintage Ford pickup – decked out with flowers by Kelly Lenard. Recently featured in Martha Stewart Weddings with Kate Dawson Events – this little green pick up was one of my favorite elements of the day to photograph & more importantly, gave the newlyweds a few minutes to themselves.

I happily stood precariously on some rocks in the brook at the charming Riverbend in Kohler, Wisconsin while waiting for this shot.

VINTAGE TRUCKS: Annie & Andrew exit their timeless ceremony at the St. Anne Catholic Church in her uncles truck- filled to the brim with beautiful flowers by Birds of a Flower. This was a perfect New England autumn day, organized by Events By Sorrell.

VINTAGE JEEP: Alie & Andrew in bliss of their iconic Nantucket wedding. White hydrangeas (By Birds of a Flower) burst from the trunk, matching the charming vibe of the island. Their special day was the most classic Nantucket day planned by Kate Dawson.

HORSE DRAWN CARRIAGE: Mallory & Christopher’s picture perfect December wedding included a carriage ride amongst Vermont’s finest snow flurries. The Dorset Inn was the most fitting venue for this timeless day by Tara Pollio Design and Events.

The newlyweds enjoyed a kiss under the shelter of the carriage, while the snow poured down on them. It is an old superstition that snow on your wedding day is a sign of prosperity and luck.

VINTAGE MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE: Margaux & George gush with joy as the head down a classic stone wall framed back road after their ceremony at The Woodstock Inn.

FAMILY BOAT: Katie & Chase celebrated their engagement while taking ‘Fire In The Hole’ out for a ride across Lake Sunapee.

MOPED: Katie & Chase also cruised around Sunapee on their moped during our engagement session. This shoot got me really excited to ‘cruise’ into their big day, planned by Landfall Designs.

GONDOLA RIDE: Elizabeth & Harry headed up Stowe Mountain to the most incredible and memorable rehearsal dinner.

Standing on top of the mountain watching the couples family and friends ‘gondola’ down really excited me for their big day, planned by Jaclyn Watson Events.

GOLF CART: Alie & Jeff scooted around The Basin Harbor Club in their Jasper & Prudence decorated cart. It was the most gorgeous day on Lake Champlain, thanks to Harlow Dahlia Events.

CRUISE BOAT: Alie & Jeff also had a quick cocktail hour cruise around the lake with their wedding party, immediately following their ceremony.

SLEIGH RIDE: Lauren & Christian brought to life a true winter wedding fairytale, as a photograph from their big day was included in the Top 20 Images of 2019 by Martha Stewart Weddings. This evening was truly out of a movie, credit to Tara Pollio Event Design for organizing this magical day.

The newlyweds set off on their iconic night-time sleigh ride amongst the Vermont winter snow.

BOAT: Emily & Brian savored their cocktail hour to the fullest on their Chris Craft boat ride across Squam Lake, holding her stunning Emily Herzig bouquet. The most classy and textbook New England evening on the water.

VINTAGE CONVERTIBLE: Emma and Will were able to relax and share a sweet moment after running through a downpour of rain to the shelter of a 1965 VW Vintage Convertible. The cool rain added to the coziness of their ride. A beautiful day despite the rain, planned by Kate Dawson Events.

The sound of the pouring rain bouncing off the rolling cans, made for a memorable exit.

THROWBACK

BICYCLE: Vanessa & Mike shared a blissful kiss as they rode away from their quaint Portsmouth ceremony, all the way back in 2009. Their timeless image was printed in Martha Stewart Wedding.

Old time transportation can be so much more meaningful and fun compared to todays basic car. It was so special to watch all these lovely couples incorporate transportation that was an important part of their love story, into their big day.

Cheers,
meg
