Here in the White Mountains, we have so many hidden treasures that I often forget are here….The Robert Frost Place is one of them. The Frost Place is now hosting small weddings and events & I really wanted to highlight the simple beauty of the hose that Frost spent with his families in the summer. It provided the perfect location for Kelly’s bridal session, just days before her wedding to Brogan. Emily Herzig provided the gorgeous flowers & Kelly herself made the cake {she makes lots of yummy treats for my family parties- Dessert Goddess!} For this shoot, I really wanted to use what was available at the Frost House…and the vintage place settings they had were a perfect inspiration….In fact, I have these little mugs in my house from my childhood…I found them with my Deedledee {grandfather} at the town dump {of all places!} when I was young & they were my special hot cocoa mugs! {Side note: going to the dump with my Deedledee was a regular occurrence & I have many happy memories of helping him find broken lawnmowers to repair & sell…..Yankees.} Anyways…..back to Kelly’s gorgeous bridal shoot! Katherine Ferrier of Thread Write was able to join us and write some poems on Frost’s porch….she does this for weddings & events {amazing!}
my goodness these photos are gorgeous, as are the flowers, cake, poem, bride…and of course the setting
Happiness in a warm day with friends in the sun…AND FLOWERS!! Meg you are my Christmas!
