I’m not much of a morning person, but earlier this week I hopped out of bed before 6 am because I was super excited about shooting the most gorgeous spring arrangement from Emily Herzig Floral Studio. I started in my mudroom….because who knew my mudroom could look this pretty?

Then I went outside to the side of our house, still in my polka-dot jammies- so all the neighbors could see and write me off as a crazy person…But the morning light was exactly what I was after….

The next day, I still felt like shooting the flowers {or I was procrastinating other things, like laundry}…So I shot it in our bedroom…We finally got our wedding quilt my Gram made hung properly…so it made for a great backdrop.

And, of course, I had to shoot in the boy’s new bunk room. The bunkroom has this perfect white wainscoting & it has the best light in the entire house…

Which location is your favorite? I really can’t decide…AND I’m pretty certain this is my most favorite arrangement of Emily’s ever…probably because it combines all of my personal favorite flowers and the color combination is what I’m currently crushing over. xx

Cheers,
Meg

Meg, these pictures are so gorgeous! I think my favorite ones are #4 and the last one. I’m just picturing the last one framed on the wall…so beautiful and pure art!
