Three years ago my sweet sister Sara married the equally sweet Andy at my parent’s farm in Landaff, New Hampshire. Although I was the maid- of- honor & they had hired a photographer, I still managed to capture many of the details of the wedding. Sara is super crafty & made nearly EVERYTHING for their rustic wedding….
Here is Sara putting on some makeup in my mom’s salon {it’s in their farmhouse, because my mom, besides being my 2nd shooter is also a hair-dresser}

The cameo Sara is wearing belonged to my Grandmother…my Grandpa brought it back from Europe after the war…it matched perfectly!
We did all the flowers for the centerpieces {tiny skinny bud jars from Michael’s} the day before in the back-room….

Mini-clothes pins held all of the guests seating cards….

As a surprise for the newlyweds my dad restored an old bicycle-built-for-two and painted it in the coordinating pale aqua….he presented it to them the night before so they could practice riding {it’s tricky!} Sara and one of her best friend’s Haley {remember her wedding from last year here?}
My mom {remember I said she was talented?} made not only Sara’s super sweetly simple dress, but also those for all 3 of us girls in the wedding party….I loved the giant bow on the back of the dress!

Andy is slightly obsessed with music- so guests were treated to both sugar sticks & cd favors…

Two sweet little birds adorned the top of the cake {Sara carefully designed the daisy -inspired fondant cut-outs}…Mini New Hampshire bike plates with “Sara” and “Andy” were carefully attached to the bicycle-built-for-two….

My Gramma Brown made all of the long skinny table runners….Sara wrapped fabric over the napkins…
Love the dancing shots….{and a total side note…the cute changing table that doubled as a beverage holder? I used it for baby Marcus! xoxo
p.s. Sara has a little shop on Etsy- check it out here! {lots of cute cards and handmade fabric wallets & belts!}

Kristen had to make the choice that no bride wants to…to move the ceremony inside or not due to the threat of severe thunderstorms…she opted to move it inside….but was still all smiles during her portrait session beforehand….

Dana seeing his new bride escorted down the aisle by her dad….

The ceremony location may not have been their first pick….but no matter what, it is always beautiful when two people exchange their vows {btw- as SOON as they started their vows the thunder and lightening started outside…so Kristen made the right decision!}

By far, the FASTEST portrait session ever…notice the raindrops on the lake?!?

Kristen’s mom made all of the centerpieces- I love the punches of bright pink and orange!

One of Kristen’s friends made her bouquet….all of the flowers were super tiny- which made for an incredible arrangement!

Yummy birch tree from Jacques Pastry!

We snuck off the dance floor for a 5 minute portrait session…the light was so buttery and soft!

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Carey – enjoy HAWAII!!!
