My planned regularly scheduled postings for “The Hitching Posts” fell to the wayside during my blog overhaul…but, we are back in business! These lovely headbands and hairclips were made by the crafty Myra.

I love shopping on Etsy- and always turn there first if I’m looking for something unique, handmade, and just plain special. Myra’s shoppe is sweetly named Twigs & Honey.

Myra also has adorable mini birdcage veil headpieces…I’ll save those for another day…but if I could change only ONE thing on my wedding day- I would have worn a mini-birdcage!

Myra also has a website: Twigs & Honey and a sweet blog twigs & honey.

p.s. In case you forgot what The Hitching Posts are all about: The Hitching Posts will be a new source for brides (and everyone else that is equally as obsessed with weddings)….I’ll be sharing unique ideas and vendors that I’ve found on Esty and other inspiring places.

Emma + Puppies + Balloons = Adorable

I had a lot of fun photographing little baby Emma- who will turn the big ONE 3 days after my Marcus does. Both of them just started to walk- so I had a great time capturing her sturdy little legs.

I brought some balloons, because I knew she would like them…I just didn’t anticipate that she wouldn’t let go!

I’m pretty torn- but I think this is my favorite image from the day….I love how she was interacting with the balloons.

p.s. Can I add that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE what I do to pay the bills?

FloraLatte Flowers

cabbage roses in the chair

Yesterday I was lucky enough to be given a bouquet of flowers that were arranged by the oh-so-talented Emily of FloraLatte.

Emily was my florist for my wedding (the same lovely pink cabbage roses I carried!). I have yet to see any of her arrangements that I didn’t completely fall in love with. Her style is distinct and beautiful.cabbage roses & piano

I would highly recommend using Emily for your wedding florist (or any-day florist too!)
