rodeoandcophoto2014_0348Back in November I was honored {actually, totally humbled and ecstatic is more accurate} to photograph  The White Dress in Color  book launch party at the Lace Factory in Connecticut along side my new friend, Allan Zepeda. {We both made the Martha Stewart Top 69 Photographer List….and he is just an-all-around awesome guy…..}

The White Dress in Color is a gorgeous collection of wedding eye-candy for inspiration….in a stunning coffee table book. It was was the mastermind of my dear friend, Carla Ten Eyck {she’s like my mama-bear in the photography world}, Beth Lindsay Chapman of The White Dress by the Shore {ah-maz-ing bridal boutique!} and the unforgettable Candice Coppola of Event Jubilee.…   The details of the party were handled by the amazing staff of Event Jubilee….and there was SO much it made me sorta giddy…..especially the dress constructed of flower PETALS that was front & center when you stepped inside the historic Lace Factory that was handmade by the dream team at Green Dahlia Florist…… {There were was so much to share, that I’m going to do Part II tomorrow- showing the actual party!}

    Congratulations Megan! I’m so happy for your expressive eye. I love COLORS, planting flower seeds tomorrow. I picked some beautiful shades of maroon, blue with white for morning glories. Zinnia in deep rust, yellow and pink. Columbine called “Peppermint Candy”. I can only imagine how you’d capture these beauties when they bloom.

  5. Sara says:

    Beautiful party and Gorgeous photos!!! My Favorite color is turquoise!

  6. Jen (aka your old roomie) says:

    My fav color is hot pink..or what classy people call magenta. Ok so know they are totally two different colors, but I like the range that the two have. Do you ship internationally, and will you personally deliver? I can show you how they use color here in Japan 😉 on the more serious note, amazing pictures!! XOXO

  7. Somewhere between a mint green & Tiffany blue and everything in between 🙂 which I why I absolutely LOVE that photo bus!

  11. Erica Johnson says:

    Meg,
    Thank you for being an inspiration to me. You were the first photographer I worked with and made it so easy (thank you for that). Thank you for showing me that following your dreams and being Mama to a couple of baby bears is achievable (can you please stop making it look so easy). Hopefully, we will work together soon! xoxo- Erica

    PS I love the pink, corals, mints, turquoise, but I will always run to blue.
